Mr Harold Nwaboku Consultant Hip & Knee Surgeon

Mr Nwaboku is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in treating patients with problems of the hip and the knee. He completed his MBBS degree in 1989 at Middlesex and University College Hospital (UCH) Medical School, and then completed his Orthopaedic training working at Chelsea and Westminster, Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH), and Barnet General Hospitals.

In 1999 he became a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon at Barnet General Hospital. His special interests include the management of hip and knee joint injuries, including arthritis, knee ligament damage and meniscus injuries. He performs hip and knee joint replacements, arthroscopic surgery, ligament reconstruction and meniscal repair surgery.

Mr Nwaboku places great importance on listening to his patient’s when deciding on possible treatment options. Throughout his practice he looks to use the latest evidence and minimally invasive (keyhole) techniques to enhance their recovery and control pain after surgery.

Mr Nwaboku is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon for Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals. He has now joined the Orthopaedic Faculty of the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.
