Dr Imran Anwar
Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist
Dr Anwar is a specialist consultant musculoskeletal radiologist working at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. Dr Anwar is a key member of the Total Orthopaedics team, working closely with the surgeons to ensure the patient receives the right imaging and the best possible treatment. He also performs diagnostic ultrasound scans and a wide range of therapeutic interventions including ultrasound and CT guided injections to treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.

About Dr Imran Anwar
Dr Imran Anwar qualified from Imperial College School of Medicine in London. Prior to his radiology career, he trained in orthopaedic surgery for several years and also completed a Master’s degree in Surgical Science at UCL London. His radiology training was on the Royal Free London training scheme and he subsequently completed a Fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology at St Mary’s Hospital, London.
Dr Anwar is a specialist consultant musculoskeletal radiologist working at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. His background in orthopaedic surgery gives him extensive experience and a unique perspective of the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. He is regularly involved in teaching and training radiologists and has written book chapters and medical journal articles on musculoskeletal topics.
Dr Anwar is a key member of the Total Orthopaedics team, working closely with the surgeons to ensure the patient receives the right imaging and the best possible treatment. He interprets a full range of musculoskeletal radiology, including X-rays, CT and MRI scans. He also performs diagnostic ultrasound scans and a wide range of therapeutic interventions including ultrasound and CT guided injections to treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.
