Onsite Imaging
Prime Health Harley Street provides Total Orthopaedics’ patients fast access to the latest scanning technology. Scans including MRI and X-ray are often essential for the diagnosis of orthopaedic conditions.
X-ray
X-rays are one of the most common scans available and only take 5-10 minutes to perform. They can be used to diagnose breaks, fractures or degradation of the bone.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
The 3T MRI onsite provides a more detailed image than the industry standard 1.5T, and it takes less time. This is more beneficial for patients with musculoskeletal issues or patients requiring a spinal scan, as the results produce higher-resolution images.
Ultrasound (US)
Ultrasound scans are used for a number of biological and regenerative treatments. They are administered under Ultrasound guidance, performed with your Consultant Surgeon and a dedicated Orthopaedic Radiographer.
