Mr Rajiv Bajekal receives Trainer of the Year award

We are delighted to announce that Mr Rajiv Bajekal has been named Trainer of the Year from the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH). Mr Bajekal received the most nominations out of his trainee colleagues working on the rotation. The awards were started three years ago to highlight and recognise outstanding individual contributions to trainee teaching practices.

The RNOH rotation covers several large teaching hospitals including Barnet & Chase Farm, The Royal Free, The Whittington and North Middlesex. Mr Bajekal’s trainee colleagues nominated him because of his fantastic attitude to training, and more specifically, the extracurricular training he provided – for all trainees from any rotation – on the run-up to the FRCS exit exam.
