Charities we Support
Part of our core mission and ethos
At Total Orthopaedics, we believe in supporting our community and charitable organisations. This aligns with the core mission and ethos of the group.
As an organisation we endeavour to host a charity event at least once per year. Since we were founded in 2016, we have raised thousands of pounds for local and national UK charities.
Teenage Cancer Trust

2020 was certainly unlike any other year in our lifetime and we felt it was important to continue our charity tradition despite COVID-19. We wanted to support Teenage Cancer Trust, as we have seen the important work they do on wards to support teens with cancer.
With many fundraising events sadly being cancelled, we wanted to give back and help support this charity so dear to our hearts. Taking all safety precautions possible – we held a COVID-secure charity bike ride for Teenage Cancer Trust on Friday 25 September, 2020.

Made in Hackney

For 2021 we chose to support the community cookery school Made in Hackney. Not only do they align with our holistic values, but many of our consultants promote and follow a plant-based diet to improve their health and wellbeing.
The kitchen at Made in Hackney started as a response to global and local crises, including health inequalities, food access and climate change. These interconnected issues drive their mission to bring about positive change in the areas of community, health and environment with delicious, culturally varied, nutritious plant-based food.
Due to torrential rain, our karting event at Evolution Karting has been re-scheduled to 2 October. Find out more about this event on our blog here.
